How We Rated The Guides
This page contains information about the procedure we used to review the guides and information on how to use our results to help decide which guide is the best for you.
The Rating Procedure
To ensure that our ratings were fair we followed a strict procedure for rating each guide. We scored each guide on quality, speed and support and then compiled the results into an easy-to-use table so that a quick comparison can be made.
How to use the Results Table
As mentioned above, we compiled the results into an easy-to-use table so that you can make a quick comparison of each guide's strengths and weakensses. This section explains how to use that information.
Quality
The quality rating is determined by how useful the guide is for the gamer. Generally speaking, the quality rating determines how relevent the guide is to the current version of the game. For example, a guide with a lower quality rating will probably contain some outdated content that no longer applies to the current version. However, even with this outdated content, the guides are still very useful and that is why they have been included in our review.
Speed
The speed rating was determined by how long it took us to actually achieve the goals, such as reaching level 80 or generating large amounts of gold. For instance, a leveling guide with a low speed rating will have taken longer to reach level 80 than a leveling guide with a high speed rating. The same is true with the gold guides. A gold guide with a low speed rating took longer to generate high amounts of cash when compared to a gold guide with a high speed rating.
Support
The support rating was a simple test of their customer support. We asked the same set of questions to each guide's support and we rated them based on the speed and effectiveness of their response. Although this factor isn't as important as the others we feel that it was definitely worth including in the results.
Overall
The overall rating takes into account all the preceding factors: quality, speed and support and compiles them into a single rating so that you can quickly compare which guides we've determined to be the best.
